Hello everyone out there in Beach Music Land. Many of you have already heard about the next BIG festival in NC…but in case you haven’t.. Go ahead and make plans to head to Greenville, NC on September 13th for one of the biggest festivals in NC. This year the 5th Annual Pirates Beach Music Fest features the Band of Oz, The Craig Woolard Band, The Four Knights, Spare Change, Jim Quick & Coastline, General Norman Johnson and the Chairmen of the Board. Wow! It should be a GOOD one!

The place to be in Raleigh on Thursday Nights is of course TJ’s Night Life. Rayz Deck Party always features the best in Beach Music every Thursday night. I heard the party a few weeks ago with Jim Quick & Coastline was incredible. I hate I missed it. I was there in July. They are coming back to Raleigh next week to play on September 4th.

Thank you everyone that has sent me birthday wishes. Lots of messages thru myspace, facebook and email. Several text at midnight last night. My mom was the first to call, she waited till 8:30am…said she did not want to wake me. …. Another year is here. Wish I at the beach…but work calls. I am ready for a big weekend in the Triangle..and just outside of it. Plan to catch the Shakers Thursday night at Rayz Deck Party in Raleigh..then its off to the party in Rox Vegas, Flem Whitt Fest at Hyco Lake with Coastline, the Shakers, Craig Woolard and the Band of Oz..
