Beach Music Online started as a simple links directory to keep up with all the links pages I thought I was going to be creating for beach music bands. After just a few sites, the site started to evolve into more than just links. After being up for about 7 years now…the site is still a main place that people come to look for the bands and events going on in the beach music world.

Looking for the place to be in a couple of weeks? North Myrtle Beach in South Carolina November 11th thru 15th, 2009. Its Cammy weekend again and if you have ever been there, you know its probably the best party weekend where you get to see more bands, more artists, and many of your best friends. If you have never gone down to NMB for the awards weekend…PLAN TO GO THIS YEAR!

I see where Chuck Jackson (“Any Day Now” and “I Don’t want to Cry” ) and Jeff Cook (founding member of Alabama) are both scheduled to perform on Sunday at the Award Show. There is always some surprises as well. Its going to be another super weekend in NMB!

No need for formal dress at these Balls. There are two big parties coming up in Raleigh…

In November its the Wild Turkey Ball with Jim Quick & Coastline, Hip Pocket and Spare Change. Its the Saturday after Turkey Day, plan to party on November 28th….and in December, one of the biggest Beach Music Holiday Parties of them all..The 7th Annual Wall to Wall Ball featuring Band of Oz, Fantastic Shakers and Jim Quick & Coastline. Its December 17th, put it on your calendar. Great rates for both of these events at the North Raleigh Hilton.

The Ballots are going out…Here are this year’s Nominees for the 2009 Carolina Beach Music Awards. If you are a member you should be getting your ballot soon. Plan to join the CBMA in November as your favorites get the recognition they deserve. Its a party weekend.
